When I first met Sally, a long time ago, it was lovely to meet a fellow female engineer who'd been there and done that. She was a great role model, not in the least bothered by people who though she couldn't do stuff just because she was a woman. Sally just got on and did it all anyway!

I loved her vitality and capacity for making everything fun. She was a joy to be with. I remember her generosity and wanting to share her success. I remember the fun parties she'd throw and the time we flew with Sally and Paul to Plymouth for the day in their little plane.

I'll miss Sally and will always enjoy the memories of what a lovely person she was. RIP
